DIET TALK, OK SO WHO.....

Original post by D's Girl

Is on a hard core diet & I mean gym 4 or 5 times a week, no eating crap, etc...?

Who is just watching what they eat, not getting nuts about it?

Who is saying 'It is what it is'?

I used to be able to go to the gym at least 5 days a week....now with drama club rehearsals after school forget it! The kids open their show in a week, so at least after it's done I can sort of go back to a normal schedule- but then I'll be taking classes at night! The way I look at it is, once that's over, I STILL have April, May, June and July to get ready!

Diet? Me? Never! That's not sarcasm. I just don't do it! I try not to eat so bad- I keep serious junk out of the house and only keep lowfat snacks around- but then I end up overindulging on them! And I still need to lose the holiday weight!!!

I can commit to going to a gym 3-4 times a week......the diet part though....I say I'm going to eat well and I'll be good for a majority of the day but I usually end up ruining my diet at night. I've had food on my mind for the last few weeks!

I feel exactly the same way.. I want to get to a point where I can eat whatever I want to and just work out 4-5 times a week.. I feel like it's gonna take a LONG time to get there though!! I am about to eat some macaroni and cheese right now!!!!!

Great subject!

I joined Jenny Craig at the beginning of January, and I've lost 8 lbs so far and it hasn't even been a full month yet!

I can't get myself motivated to exercise, but I will soon ... (or at least that's what I keep promising myself!)

I try and go to the gym 4 times a week, but it is ver y difficult with 2 jobs. I have a personal trainer since November and lost 5 1/2 inches. I just try and watch what I eat, but i think I need to get really strict with my diet because I can't seem to get rid of those 5lbs.

I am going to the gym 4 times a week and just hired a personal trainer that I am starting with on Monday! I told my FH, I am hopefully going to be the girl on Waikiki Beach that everyone will look at...and so will HE!!!

OK, so my confession is that I gained a lot of weight about 2 years ago..... I had a lot of stress with a career transition at the time.... I settled in my new job this september, and started a serious weight loss plan....

I've lost about 35 lbs over the last several months.... For exercise, I'm doing The Firm step aerobics + weights every other day.

Diet-wise, I love cooking too much to eat $#!t, so I merely cut out all pasta, and limited rice, potatoes, and bread to one serving a day. I doubled my consumption of vegetables, and also avoid soda, artificial sweeteners, all processed food, fast food, and limit desserts to a rare home-made item. I still eat cheese and dairy, and have an occasional drink, but everything is in moderation....

Anyone whose scale isn't budging, it likely is becuase you need to exercise at least 30 min a day for a minimum of 5 days a week for real results.
Still hoping to lose another 15 prior to the wedding!

I'm trying pretty Hard. I'm pretty over-weight and not only want to look good for the wedding but get healthy again since we are probably going to TTC shortly after the wedding. I have lost 18 Pounds since August but I haven't been trying really hard until a month ago.
