Difference between dark and light brown sugar?
I am making Blondies and I bought dark brown sugar. Some recipies say just brown sugar, some say dark and some say light brown sugar. Is there a big taste difference? All the recipies are basically the same.

Re: Difference between dark and light brown sugar?
When recipes do not specifiy, I use light brown sugar. Dark brown sugar is richer because it contains a touch of molasses that imparts a noticable difference in recipes. I might go with the light for blondies but i think either would be fine really
