Digital Camera Recommendations?

We're thinking about getting a digital camera any recommendations?

I have the Sony P3 and love it and get lots of compliments. I think there is a newer version out now.

I have a Canon Elph Powershot S330-which I love!
The quality of the pictures is incredible and it's a small camera, which was a big selling point for me.
The only downside is the zoom function isn't the greatest. It's not super-powerful.

There have a been a few threads on this so you may want to do a search. I have 2 Olympus cameras which I think are great for many reasons.

But the bottom line is : unless you are looking for something very specific or you have a professional need - nearly all of the name brand digital cameras out there are quite good. My only tip is to spend as much as you can now to get the highest resolution possible.

Another Olympus Camedia user here. I bought one for my hubby for his birthday/wedding present and we took it on our honeymoon. I bought it on Amazon and got a free memory card with it (which is a good deal considering you can go through cards fast when traveling). It's a 4 megapixel and the pics look amazing (I had some printed recently at shutterfly.com). The color is very vivid and accurate.

Now I just need to find a really good photo printer so I can print more of the pics myself!
