Is there a difference in the quality of the photos? Is one preferred over the other? Should there be a price difference? Thanks for all info.

Re: Digital Photography vs Film?
I believe one of the vendors had written something about this a little while ago. You might want to post this on the vendors side and get some feed back from the professional. If I remember correctly they talked about 3d images.
Our photographer used digital technology for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. Our photos are beautiful. The prints & proofs are done at the same photographic labs as other photographers (not off ink jet printers). They use super high resolution professional grade cameras.
Price wise it may be a little less since they are not purchasing film but we actually got more proofs then expected or contracted so I guess that balanced out in the end. The other prices are the same - time, reprints, albums, etc.
I have no reservations recommending digital photography.

Re: Digital Photography vs Film?
I'm not an expert but from what I have learned, the savings goes to the photographer or studio, and not really to us! Most photogs embrace it cause it saves them money but many still say the quality is not as good as the film. Good luck.
