We chose our photography package and are going with a new type of album...a digital wedding album. We saw one last night at our photographer and it is so awesome. Has anyone seen or had a digital album?
We're also going with the digital/coffee table album. Some places call them theh Soho book. I love the different effects you can add. I've seen a lot of samples with text (song lyrics, poems, etc.) along with the pics.

That's what we are getting too. The digital albums are awesome. It's amazing what they can do with th ealbums.

They are very attractive - my concern is the lifespan though - digital photos fade and don't last as long as regular photos so how will the digital album look in 10 or 20 years? Then again a regular album will begin to yellow and fade as well.
It's a common misconception that digital photos fade. It all depends on how they are printed. Digital photos printed with an ink-jet printer that you have at home will definitely fade. If you print the photos at a lab, they are going to use the same quality of materials they use to print film. The digital albums are only digital because they are laid out using digital files on a computer.
We are getting a digital album....We saw a sample at Timber Point when we there and fell in love with it. We knew that was the album we wanted. I think they are really nice.
