I like the first one A LOT better than the second... but what you like and what I like are obviously completely different...

i agree that the 2nd dress is very common....n while the 1st one is different, its awesome.............its not like its a mini dress w/hot pink or something n really nontraditional....its jus that instead of taffeta, or lace, or organza, ur fabric of choice is feathers!!! its personal preference....
n the fact that u look amazing in it doesnt hurt!!!
have u tried it w/a veil n stuff too?? maybe if u put it all together, u will see its not as 'shocking' to come down the aisle in as ur afraid some ppl might think..
part of ur charm is ur eccentricities....why not showcase that partly with ur wedding dress too??
and ITA there will always be SOME family member on either side that is gonna have a negative opinion about something...its how some people deal with their own unfulfilling lives....dont base ur decisions around them!!!

Have you looked at any of Matthew Christopher's dresses? The Venus/Aphrodite incorporates feathers, but not as much as dress #1. Something like that may give you the unique flair you're looking for, while still looking a little traditional.

i say go with the first one,its unique and different,i wanted a different type of dress for my wedding as well,im very far from dressing typical,thats why i picked the dress i did,the ruffles arent typical in a dress. make yourself happy before others.pick what u want but imo the first looka much better on you then the second

To be honest I don't like dress #2. I don't want to offend anyone who has it already. I like the top, but something about the bottom I don't like. Just my personal preference.
I agree... I know some girls have the 2nd dress and is pretty but there is something missing FOR ME from the bottom.
I think the 1st one is so unique and who else can pull it off?? There is no comparison for me.

Most people are happy with run of the mill traditional wedding gowns... i'm not and I know you are not. Number 1 is so different and beautiful. It is similiar (in my opinion) to Barbara (BarbieGrl10)'s dress and everyone saw how beautiful and unique she looked. You keep going back to #1 because nothing you have come across has outdone it. Remember, you can't please everyone. There are going to be people at your wedding tearing your party to shreds and there are going to be people who think you had a platinum wedding... you can't please everyone so JUST PLEASE YOURSELF!!!!!

I dont know if you made a decision but I have to add my 2 cents....I think it would be a damn shame if you didnt go w/#1. #2 id beautiful dont get me wrong but that style dress can only be rocked by certain ladies (and men ) and you can def w/out a doubt rock so if I were you, thats the way I would go!!!!

That first dress really is beautiful, I love all that work on the top! It definitely is different which is what you want and if it's more your style then go for it.

09'er crashing. Dress #1, looks stunning on you. I would never has thought I would like a feathered wedding dress but on you it is absolutely gorgeous!!! I also loved dress #2 but hated the fact that everyone was wearing it. In the end I didn't get it b/c I wanted something more unique and original. Good Luck

i came to work and i started crying hysterically.. im actualy at my desk now with hair in my face so no1 sees me.
i love dress 1. this decision has been extremely difficult. truth is.. i miss my dad. hes not here with me. i need him to tell me the honest truth and its killing me inside. he wont see me walk down the aisle...and it started to hit me.
