'dilemmaaa' * pic added*

so.. i found THE ONE.. 2nd dress i put on and it looked offfffff the HOOK! lolol

but.. its a lil hooochie. maybe im overreacting cuz my mom didnt flip out? (shes the most serious uptite, but veryyyyy sweet women on earth).. i was told i can have them add straps and they could pick up the dress from up top more..

its that heart shape strapless... so u see BOOBS. i also suggested to put in a piece of cloth in my cleavage for the church cuz i didnt feel comfy.

but as far as the actual reception..i wont need a 2nd party dress cuz this 1 is IT!

BUT.. the ladies at the store suggested my hair to be worn UP!. i NEVER EVERRR wear my hair up! ive never taken a good pic with my hair up... aside from the 1 where i was kissing a pigs corpse in the supermarket.

soo.. do i find a dress where i can wear my hair down? or do i just buy the dress wear my hair the way i want to?

also theres A LOTTT of TULLE on the dress.. is it wack?? on the site the dress looks nothing like it does when i wear it cuz the model has zero curves. i didnt even recognize it. (dimitrios db106)

im loosing sleep over thiss! some feedback pleaseee
thank uuu

If you love the dress, i would get it, make the changes to it so that its not soo hoochie and then wear your hair how you want. I wouldn't wear my hair a certain way just because the women at the dress store said.

When i got my dress, the women kept putting my hair up with a veil and i kept taking it down, because my hair will not be up

go for what u want. U could always wear a wrap or bolero for the church to cover up the girls... if you love it get it and wear ur hair how u want. The p[people who sell u dresses always try to tell u exactly what to do, but its all up to u and u know how u look best!! You know when u found the dress! Mine was the second i tried on too!!

UPDATED.... loveeee the pic! that dress is gorgours!!

Re: 'dilemmaaa'

ok first off CONGRATS!!! lolol

secondly, i always think brides should wear their hair similar to how they always do.... like you, i never really wear my hair up so i dont want to for the wedding and i think youd be more comfortable if you wear it down, so i think you should wear it exactly how you want to and not let the dress dictate that!!

thirdly, im a little if-fy on sexy wedding dresses, then again im pretty traditional, but something about crazy boobage on your wedding day just rubs me the wrong way, JMO, if they could fix it like you said that would be good... i mean dont get me wrong a little cleavage is fine its just when your bouncing around all over the place that i think looks a little, ummm yeah lol

and im all about tulle!! i tried on afew demetrios dresses so i know what you mean, but i think they look really good like that!!!

1) don't listen to how people tell you to wear you hair, i was told the same thing, wear your hair up but like you, i never take a good pic with my hair up....so I am wearing it half up/half down, mostly down though....so wear your hair however you want

2) i also have a sweetheart neckline, my boobies are concealed though, not like popping out.....i was told the same thing about straps but i am just gonna get a good bra and i should be fine

Personally, if you really think this dress is the one, GET IT!! You love it and i'm sure you look amazing it, get what feels right and most importantly what you feel comfortable in.....now that you found the one, nothing will compare to it, so just do it!

do you have pics????

that is a beautiful dress.

i think the tulle shown in the picture on-line looks great. but if you are not comfortable with the amount of tulle maybe they can take a layer or two off?

i do understand what you are saying about the top. deffinettly too plungy for church. on-line picture shows thin straps but i think i would look better with a thicker strap.

I think it looks beautiful!! It's a little bobbyish, but not as bad as I thought by the way you were describing it....I think it's fine!!

For the hair thing...get a few trials and see what you like...

That is a beautiful gown!!!! I don't think it is very hoochie... If you are uncomfortable though for the church the added fabric will work perfectly.

Also wear your hair however you want it, in the dress you said is THE ONE!! Don't pass up on the gown bc of what a lady at a dress store said

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!.

I love the dress...I think it looks great on you. Not too much tulle. (I LOVE Demetrios sooo much).

I feel the same way about hair...I never wear my hair up- I HATE my hair up. And I'm in the middle of July so everyone keeps telling me I should wear it up. I think you should do what feels comfortable for you.

I don't think it looks hoochie at all. In your church are you allowed to have your shoulders exposed. I know some churches you can not, so perhaps you could wear a lil jacket for the church.

i think im just guna get it lol. i went to another shop and tried on a few dresses thinking i would find something nicer and my mom and i would both look at eachother after every dress...'its not like THE ONE' i LOVE TULLLE!! i just dont wanna feel like a deeek with 80 lbs of it .. like its my sweet 16.. ya kno?

Had to comment, the dress looks really pretty on you. Congrats on finding it!!
I actually think if you were to wear your hair down and wavy (Not beach wavy, romantic wavy, make sense?) it would look gorgeous with that dress.

you know...I thought about it....i remember you had posted pics of yourself, where you had done your own hair, and I think that would look really pretty with the dress.

The dress is very pretty but I am not the biggest fan of an all toulle skirt (it is a little sweet 16ish for me... please don't hate me). As far as all the boobage, you can get a bolero to wear in church if you want. I would keep looking at other options that have the same idea with less cleavage.. if all else fails then this is meant to be yours!
