Our ceremony will be at a church in Blue Point and the reception will be in Port Jefferson. Do I need direction cards for the church??

yes I would make them...u can just print them up on your comp.....u want ppl to see you get married, but you dont want a flood of phone calls days before the wedding from ppl who want to go to the church and need directions!
Im just getting some pretty paper from michaels or staples to print on

Thats what I was thinking of doing. Do you think I need to include a map or will written directions be good enough?

If you are including your own directional cards, why not print the directions for both, one on each side.

This is what we did...
we had pocketfolds with 3 insert cards (reception, reply and directions/accomodations). Our direction card has directions to the church & RH on one side, and directions and contact info for both hotels for our oot guests on the other. No map included. I think most people will mapquest the directions anyway.
