Direction cards for invites...

Are you getting these printed with the invitation scheme.... or are you getting them from your reception venue??

No clue what the 'rule' is on these!!

Thanks

I think it all depends on what your invitation looks like. FH and I went with pocketfolds, so we made our own to match our invitations, but my friends that have done just an invite card usually slipped in the one from the RH. there is no rule to any of this, but to just have one in the invitation!

no rule. I have seen a lot of brides who are doing pocketfolds have matching directions in there. I love the way this looks, but I just can't deal and I don't have pocketfolds. so the direction cards AND hotel cards I got from the RH and hotels directly.

it depends on how they look i think. Like I saw the place cards the RH had, and I said no way; they were cheesy looking so i'm buying my own. but i was okay with the directions.

I got them from the RH. I have enough DIY things to do, this is one I dont need to do.

For our direction card- we just had printed the information (address, phone, website) for the church, RH & OOT hotel. It was a folded card that it was on that we ordered to match our invites. Then, on the inside of the folded card, I printed on clear lables (2' x 4' size) the directions to the church & to the RH.... So, a bit different but it worked I hope
