Anyone book w them? My in laws are making an appointment to meet this week and I want to know good bad and price point!

I am booked with them. I worked with Kelly and she was really great in helping me create a vision because I had no idea what I wanted lol I've also heard Maria is great to work with. Good luck at your appt.

Some of the girls already know this but I've been trying to get a definitive quote from them forever. I had an appt with them a few weeks ago but they never gave me a firm price. I dropped by (btw its an hour from me) on Thursday and Kelly said she would email me a full quote the next day. I didn't get anything, so I called yesterday and spoke to Maria. She told me Kelly would call me that evening. No call or email that night or today (they were open from 10 to 3). They're closed tomorrow. I'll listen to what they have to say for themselves but it'll take a lot for me to spend thousands of dollars with them now.

At least you got responses from them. I emailed them half a dozen times before giving up. Email is easiest for me because of work, but it seems like they never check theirs!

Michelle at Hidden Essence. She's been phenomenal. Always gets back to me right away and was far less money than any other florist. She also got me right away - pictures of my samples in my albums.

Distinctive is amazing!! Tell them your price point and they will make it happen. I couldn't say enough good things about them. Hope it works out for u!

I was not impressed with Distinctive at all. They wouldnt give me a copy of the proposal at the end of the meeting. How are you supposed to remember what they are giving you? Shady business practice if you ask me. I personally would look elsewhere.

Update on my sitch with them:

I emailed them today expressing my anger and frustration with the fact that they were ignoring my phone calls and emails. I know they're not open today so I didn't expect to hear from them, but at the end of work I got a missed call and a voicemail that I didn't check, which turned out to be the owner Brian apologizing and letting me know he'd call me personally first thing tomorrow morning. A bit later I got a call that I did answer and it was Maria...she was very nice and apologized...didn't make excuses, didn't feed me any stories, she just said they were super busy this weekend and yesterday they had a bridal showcase so that's probably why Kelly didn't call. I basically told her that I heard great things about them and that I admired their arrangements at all the showcases, that they were purposely the first florist we went to and I was just disappointed in how Kelly managed my expectations. I asked if she would be able to take over my wedding if we booked with them and she said shed talk to Brian.

I'm glad they finally got in touch with me...I know it's not easy to please everyone especially in the wedding business. I'm not one to be a bridezilla and I'm usually really laid back I just hate when people tell me something and don't follow through with it.

I'll see what they say tomorrow...but regardless I think they handled it properly after they saw how upset I was.

im not in the mood nor do I have the patience to wait for quotes and be jerked around. I need firm pricing right away and pictures. If a vendor cant do that to me than they dont get my business!

How'd it go with your appt? After all that crud I went through with them they gave me the HIGHEST quote of all 3 places, RIDICULOUS!

I told the, flat out that their quote was way above the others and the emailed me back staying they want to accommodate and wanted to know what I wanted to spend. I told them I gave the same exact floral plan to 2 other places and my lowest quote was 800 less than theirs and they were like wow that's a good quote sorry but we can't meet it. Lol. Cool, wasn't going to book with you anyway but good try!

I'm going tomorrow at six. I'm bringing ffil and he is not one to be messed with. He has walked out of two other appointments bc they tried to **** us around, and another place he would.nt even go into bc the front entrance was filled w discarded cigarette butts... They don't stand a chance
