For those of you that have been to Disney, Epcot, MGM etc are there any restaurants that you would recommend. We are going there for our HM and we want a variety of places to go to from fun to romantic. TIA

Re: Disney Help
In Epcot we really like Japanese Teppanyaki. The food is good and it is a lot of fun. They cook right in front of you.
In MGM we love the 50's Prime TIme Cafe. It's so cute. It's set up like the kitchens of old 50's TV shows.
Two really fun dinner shows are the Spirit of Aloha Show at the Polynsian and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue at the Fort Wilderness Resort.
In the Magic Kingdon Cinderella's Royal Table and Tony's Town Square have good food.
Hope this helps. If you need any more info FM me. I have been there so many times. Love it there.

In Epcot we love San Angel Inn in the Mexican Pavillion the atmosphere is great and the food is absolutely delicious.
I haven't eaten here, but it does seem very romantic. Low lights and the canal going by. Nice!

Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. There are tons of books on Disnye, buy one or flip through one at Barnes and Nobles are anywhere else, and they will have every single restaurant they have a disney. Good info there.

Re: Disney Help
If you go to Universal CityWalk, go to Margaritaville! Great tunes, I always have a great Cheeseburger in Paradise there and fabulous margaritas! Fun place. There's also a Bob Marley Cafe and Pat O'Briens (The New Orleans landmark that made Hurricane drinks popular!--can't drink 'em myself--too sweet--but they pack a powerful punch!!)
ETA: I saw above someone recommended the Hoop de Doo @ Fort Wilderness!!! Even though it is CORNY it is great, great fun. You'll get a special song & shout out for being on your HM and you might be even pulled on stage for a special acting job (I've been the can-can girl a coupla times LOL) My family & I always go there together for a fun time.

Re: Disney Help
Downtown Disney: Fulton's crab house (a MUST - it was excellent) & Rain forest cafe [they also have the giardelli ice cream shop if you want to stop there for dessert - amazing sundaes]
Universal City Walk: Emeril's
Magic Kingdom: The italian lady & the tramp restaurant is good for lunch. For a romantic dinner where you can see the fireworks going off over the castle you can go to the restaurant (california grill) at the Contemporary hotel and ask for firework seating.
Epcot: Coral Reef
MGM: Brown Derby

If you're in the World Showcase at EPCOT, DH and I LOVE the Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant. Also, Les Chefs de France (France) and Le Cellier (which is in Canada).
The French Restaurant at Epcot was excellent!!!

Definitely call ahead and make reservations!! Every good restaurant books early!!!!!!!!!! Call the Disney hotlline and ask when is the earliest you can make reservations and call that day. They also recommened restaurants to us and they were right about all of them especially the French Restaurant at Epcot. They have this meal plan now and everyone was booking early and taking all the spots. We went last November and we made our reservarions in September and still got closed out of a lot of places like The Brown Derby that we wanted to go to at MGM.

I highly recommend California Grill at the contemporary. If you like sushi, order the appetizer. It is amazing.

Re: Disney Help
I just wanted to echo support for Le Cellier in Canada and Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast. Both are very good to honeymooners (be sure to mention it is your honeymoon, when you make the reservation).
For fun dining, try Beaches and Cream at Beach Club ....it is so good!

Re: Disney Help
A GREAT restaurant (very expensive, but an experience you couldn't get many other places) is Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian.
The french restaurant in Epcot is nice, but you could do a lucn or somewhat casual dinner there.
In MGM there is a fun little theme restaurant...I can't remembee the name, but it is like an old drive in. You sit in cars and watch a big screen and eat burgers and fries and drink milk shakes. Very cute.
The restaurant in the mexican pavillion at epcot is really good also.....it is inside the ride with the boats floating by.

Re: Disney Help
Victoria and Alberts is supposed to be terrific. It is expensive and you have to get dressed. You would have to wear a skirt or a cute dress and your FH would have to wear a jacket.
When we went to Disney last year we were going to eat there but we didn't want to travel with dress clothes.
San Angel in Epcot (Mexico) is excellent!!
You really can't go wrong no matter where you eat!!

Re: Disney Help
You HAVE to eat at Captain Jack's. It's in downtown Disney and it is on the water next to Rain Forest Cafe. FH and I went there for dinner all 3 times we went to Disney and each time the food is great!!!

Re: Disney Help
At Victoria & Alberts you get your own 'personalized' menus with your names on it and they're sealed with wax. Your names are written in script on the outside and then are printed on the actual menu on the inside...you can even request a personal message on them. There's a harpist and you have your own personal 'butler' as a waiter. It's cute, romantic, and definitely a HM thing to do!!
