disney help!

Re: disney help!

I would definitely get a park hopper. You may want to go back to a park that you really like and spend half a day there and half the day at a water park, or something like that. My favorite park is MGM Studios. They have more 'adult' rides like the tower of terror and the aerosmith roller coaster. If you like nightclubs, I would get the extra option on your ticket that allows you access into the nightclubs (like a theme park) so you dont have to to when you go. That same added feature gets you into water parks too.. Oh and at downtown disney (where the nightclubs are) there is also a Cirque du solei show. I havent seen it, always wanted to though. That would be something different to do.

thank you so much for all the suggestions!
Should I start making dinner reservations now, for Oct? We are going for 7 nights.

Anyone have any opinions on blizzard beach vs typhoon lagoon?

I would definitely start making reservations now! We ate at Coral Reef at Epcot and that was awesome food! Hmm where else, Wolfgangs at Downtown Disney, Tony's Restauraunt at Magic Kingdom (Lady and the Tramp Restaurant), Prime Time Cafe at MGM. THis place is my favorite!! Its a 50s style place and they yell at you if you put your elbows on the table, dont finish your veggies. Its so much fun.

As for the water parks, I've only been to Typhoon Lagoon and it was a lot of fun. But I cant really compare that for you.

i like epcot at night - lots of places to eat (althought i never thought any of them were that great) and you can walk around all the countries - we did it at night, walked around, grabbed some deserts and coffees, and we saw some performers outside doing stuff too....

we went to mgm and had fun there

and we had lots and lots of fun at magic kingdom...

surprisingly there were the most kids and people at animal kingdom (we went the week before thanksgiving in november, during the week so all the parks were empty except animal kingdom) lots of strollers, lots kids, crowded - i hated it, i was so excited to go there but i just get so frustrated by people who let their kids run wild and there were wild kids everywhere....so we didnt do much or see much - we left and went to mgm i think....

I've only been once & stayed on property & had the park hopper.... Go to as many parks as you can- we loved them all!

I do remember the steakhouse in Canada in Epcot was UNBELIEVABLE & we love Alfredo the Italian restaurant there. We had the meal plan which was such a great deal- but not sure if you can do this if you are not staying on property.

Loved Soarin' the ride too- went on it probably 4 times- lol...

Hey 09er here but DISNEY FANATIC ... my FH and I are actually going for the 2nd year in a row ...

def park hopper and def do all the parks ... one GREAT ride is in EPCOT called Soarin' ... its in the land pavilion and its amazing It simulates you flying over California

one dinner night you should try and do ... for a romantic and amazing touch at disney is the CALIFORNIA GRILL in the CONTEMPORARY RESORT .. its slightly pricey but amazing food and time your dinner reservation around Magic Kingdom firework time bc the restaurant has 2 balconies you go on to watch the fireworks from and they play what you would hear in the magic kingdom ... so romanticals

FM me if you want any other help ... i love disney and everything about it

We go every year and do the same thing each time. We spend 1 day doing Universal and Islands of Adventure. Their great parks but really not alot of stuff to spend just 1 day doing each. We spend an extra $35 for the fast passes and it is sooo worth it especially when its packed. You speed thru all the lines and that helps with getting both done in one day.

As for Disney we always get the parkhopper depending on how many days we want to spend in Disney. Usually 2-3 day park hoppers. We always manage to do 2-3 parks a day depending on lines. We fastpass any ride over a 30 minute wait. Since Epcot has the least ride attractions the lines are horrendous so you need to get there early and fastpass everything. When we went 2 yrs ago we got to the park at 2 and every fast pass was gone so we wound up waiting a loong time.

I could go on and on but I'll stop.

You dont pay for fast pass at Walt Disney World............

universal and disney are two separate parks. Park hoppers should be a must, for both. You can AAA disc for Universal and they are pretty reasonable. If you stay on site-like Hard Rock, you get fast pass access too. I haven't been too disney in many years. I personally like animal kingdom.

i definitely recommend staying on disney...we stayed at the pop century..it was the least expensive but you are never going to be in your room anyway...i also recommend getting the meal plan too..we ate at a different country every night in Epcot and the food was delicious...you definitely get your moneys worth. i would skip MGM..there isnt much to do there
