Distinctive Floral....

is NOT out of business. I made that post and had it up for a few minutes before Michelle told me the real number and I said it was correct and there was some other florist in the city that I called because they had a very similar name and their website showed up when I searched for them. (which I wrote all about on the original thread)

I met with Maria on Friday and loved them and their ideas. They have been in business a long time and have NO thoughts of closing. So if anyone was confused by my post I'm sorry but just read everything before you start panicking! I even wrote that I was changing the original post to AVOID panic!

All the girls booked with them are in great hands because they did a FABULOUS job on my cousin's wedding and I plan on booking them too!

Again sorry for any confusion I may have caused and I only posted it myself because I wanted to get in touch with them and was confused.

They are STILL in business and they are doing great.

All the post said was that I looked up their number, called it, and the lady who answered said they were bought out. I came on here asking if I had the right number and Michelle gave me their actual number and I called the right number, came back on, and said the first place I called wasn't them. I really don't know what the big deal is! The whole reason I posted was to find out their actual information so I could call them.

The other place was in New York City and called Distinctive Floral Designs so I can't believe this has never happened before. Maybe the other people who got the wrong number just never bothered to check up on them. Honestly if they didn't do my cousin's wedding last year I would have just said oh well they were out of business and moved onto the next florist but since they just did hers I figured there was some kind of mix up.

I really don't believe my post that was up for five minutes on the 2012 boards could cause this much commotion. :shrugs:
