Divorced Parents (Program Question)

Let me just say I never realized how annoying it is to have divorced parents until I started planning my wedding.

When I list parents of the bride on my wedding ceremony programs, which order do my parents' names go. Both are remarried and I have a relationship with both my step-parents.

Is it:

Sarah & Sam Smith (mother & stepdad)
Jane & John Doe (stepmother & dad)

or the other way around?

Good luck with that! My parents are divorced too! Question ~ is your Dad walking you down the aisle? Will you be dancing with both your Dad and step-dad?

Both my parents are walking me down the aisle. I am going to dance with my father the first half of the song, then finish the song with my step dad.

Also, my stepdad is doing a reading for the ceremony

I think you would name yourself and say escorted by and then your parents names.

Are the 'steps' walking down the aisle?

No they aren't walking down the aisle.

I thought I was suppose to list 'Parents of the Bride' in the wedding program.
