Does anyone have fresh new DIY project or creative wedding ideas, for seating or naming tables instead of just giving them numbers. Anything creative that would be a nice twist to a traditional wedding?

We are naming our table instead a number, we are not sure what we will do extractly, but maybe countries, Favorite signers, color.. etc..

I see that you're getting married on July 4th.
Maybe you could do patriotic table names like Independence, Freedom, etc.

I don't think this is new or fresh but I think we are doing table numbers named after all the places we've vacationed. The sign will have a photo of us we took from the actual place. We like travelling and we lilke pictures so i figured this would be perfect. I read another cute idea where the bride and groom took pictures holding the number and that was their table picture.

I saw one idea where the couple made each table a different age during their life. So for each table, they had pictures of them at that age and wrote little blurbs on what they were doing (or not doing if they were babies)...
Another couple made each table a different chinese character...
I was thinking a cute thing would be to have each table be a different activity FH and I like to do and then to identify each table have a blown up picture of us doing the activity (crabbing, dancing, singing, picking each others' noses...) that last one was a joke...
