I went to Michaels over the weekend and took a look at their boxed invites...has anyone ever purchased them and DIY'ed their own invites? Was it easy? Any problems? How was the quality?

Re: DIY Boxed Invitations
I bought the Brides Magazine ones from Michaels and here are my issues...
The paper felt thin and flimsy
They do not sell add on kits like for extra envelopes, direction cards, etc. My kit came with a pocketfold, invite, direction card, response card, and envelopes. Since I was getting married in a church, I wanted an additional card with the reception info on it, so I made the direction card the reception card. Fine, great. But I needed another card for the accommodations info. I had to buy a totally different paper and it did not match at all.
Also, I could not find any other envelopes anywhere. I needed 6.5X6.5 and neither Brides Magazine or Michaels sells that size. I searched Joann's, Pearl Paint, Target, AC Moore and no one sells it. I could have ordered online, but by the time they would have gotten to me, it would have been too late. Also, the envelopes that come with the kit were so thin that I added a rhinestone to the front and it tore through the envelope.
Honestly if I had to do it all over again, I would have just ordered invites somewhere else or bought a different kit.
