DIY centerpieces

Anybody want to share their ideas? I'm not a big flower person so I was thinking something with candles. I'm pretty creative, just like to hear other peoples ideas/opinions. I was also thinking of paying my florist to put the pieces on the tables....

Any feedback would be awesome

Re: DIY centerpieces

I have the EXACT same though process as you. The only flowers I really want are the ones I will be holding. LOL I really want to do candle centerpieces also... possibly with a SMALL flower accent.

These are some of the things I was thinking...

Re: DIY centerpieces

I originally was going to do tall lanterns on each table with pillar candles.

Instead I ended up using them to line the aisle at my ceremony.

Ikea sells them for a really reasonable price:

It would look so nice for your a winter wedding =)

Re: DIY centerpieces

I like the long and short candles with some flowers in them. I was searching on orientaltrading.com they have them and have mirror to place them on. Not sure if its worth getting them done by a professional though. I think they came to like 26 bucks. I'm alittle worried to do them myself especially if they didn't come out good. My fiance had a good idea to order one and try to make it and see how it comes out. HTH.

Re: DIY centerpieces

I am getting 3 different size cylinder vases and filling them with silver and black Xmas balls, having silver and black sprays coming out of the top (so they don't look flat) putting red rose petals around the base of the cylinders and also having ivory votive candles around them.
