DIY- Invitations

DIY- Invitations

For those of you who made your own invitations-

How did you get the paper, cardstock, response cards, etc? Did you go to a wedsite that explains how to?

I would like to see if it would be more ecomically but not to difficult to do. Please let me know where you got the directions to do it, the materials and how difficult is was, etc

I would research it on the internet but I don't know where to bring.

Thanks!

i think it depends on the KIND/STYLE you want.

do you want traditional invites, pocketfolds, layered??

once you know the kind/style you want, then it will be easier to know where to find materials/tutorials

I love the pocket fold look and the way it looks so organized but I think it will be too difficult to assemble.

So now that's another questions- What styles are the easier to complete, which are the most difficult?

HERE IS THE LINK THAT GIVES DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO DO THE POCKETFOLDSDIRECTIONS

I just ordered all my supplies this morning, if you want to know what I ordered fm me. Everything for 118 invites came to $350. I ordered it from cards & pockets.

My advice is to order a sample kit from them and they will send you everyting you need. You will get a sense of how everthing will go together and if it's something you want to spend time doing.

I got mine from cards and pockets too but am using my own paper, I got that from stales and Ac moore. I decided the hotel, directions and reception cards do not have to be cardstock, just the RSVP is cardstock oh and the invite itself. WOW now I just remembered that another paper is from stampin up. I guess I have a lot of different paper frm a lot of places. Cards and pockets have precut paper so you just put it throught the printer and viola your invites just need to be put together! Happy shopping!
