So I'm really trying to save money everyway I can since we are paying for the wedding ourselves, and it seems that DIY invites is the best way. The problem is I'm really NOT artistic and I still want the invitations to look professionally made.
I've looked at all the DIY invitation kits from Michael's and I haven't seen anything that I like, or that will work considering that we need 3 or 4 additional inserts. Does anyone have any ideas at all as to where I can look or how to generally go about this? I'm scared to order paper online b/c of the fear it won't be heavy enough for invitations.
As you can see, I'm pretty clueless.
TIA!!!

Re: DIY Invitations
don't be scared to order paper online! You can order samples from most of the places for like $1 per sheet. I ordered from Paper and More and I really liked the quality of the paper! Its perfect. I also think their site is pretty informative when it comes to sizing and whether or not u can print using an inkjet printer....
Here is the link along with some other good sites. My friend ordered from the 2nd two and she liked the paper that she got from there too.
I got my paper from paper-papers and they were a great quality. If you order $100 or more, there is a 10% discount!

Re: DIY Invitations
I don't have the time to DIY so I'm hiring someone on Etsy to 'DIY' for me... haha... it's a lot cheaper than ordering through a store and much nicer than anything I could make!

Re: DIY Invitations
Got my supplies from the Paper Source. Everything's size and color coordinated - lots of choices! I went to their stores in Boston, but have ordered online as well.
