I am doing my own invites, but Cards & Pockets changed their ordering, etc...
Has anyone used them? If so, what exactly do I need to order? You can only communicate with them via email so I'm gettnig frustrated =(
Also, would it be too much if I did fushia, teal & ivory for them? I was thinking a teal pocketfold, fushia mat & ivory invite to print on? Ivory enclosures, etc?

Re: DIY Invites
teal and fuschia reminds me of the old computer monitors that had only cyan and magenta.

Re: DIY Invites
when my Florist ORIGINALLY suggested the ivory, teal, light pink & fushia combo, I threw up in my mouth a little and thought my wedding was going to look like a circus event... When I saw them all together it was STUNNING! Unfortunatley,Id ont have any pictures... =(
Do I need to add the colors of my flowers to my invites?

I think it could work, but it would have to be the RIGHT teal and the RIGHT fuschia.
I don't think you need the colors or your flowers on the invites at all, but you should choose a color that coordinates with the theme

Re: DIY Invites
the BM's are all wearing teal dresses (Alfred Angelo, tealness)and their bok's have the fushia & light pink & ivory in them.. that's where I got the colors from, then freaked b/c I originally planned my invites to be teal & ivory... Think that could still pass?

Re: DIY Invites
I think Teal and ivory would be perfect. I'd go by the BM dresses before the flowers. For example, I'm having purple BM dresses and probably pink flowers. My invitations and other stuff will be purple, not pink.

i think the colors could be really pretty together but I'd have to see them to get the full effect - did you order samples from cards and pockets before you commit to a large order?

I did.. but they discontinued the 'easy order kit' so now i have to order piece by piece so I'm kind of confused? Have you used Cards&Pockets?

no, I used paper and more - I found it really easy to use and the paper is really good quality. I ordered piece by piece and it was easy to figure out, but you can't order a specific size (u can only get 8.5 x 11 for the paper & cardstock) I had a problem where I didn't get one of my shipments and the customer service was great - when it comes time to place my order, I think I will def go with them
