does anyone else get overwhelmed with all these do it yourself projects? they are all amazing and beautiful buttttt who has the time!!! invitations, centerpieces, monograms on everything, programs, favors, place cards, table numbers and the list goes on!!! just thinking about doing all that stuff on my own makes me feel sick!!! all the stuff i have seen has looked amazing but do you really save money? i have seen invitations online for $2-3 and thats what it costs to make them yourself ... expect here you just click a button and when you make them yourself you go nuts spending hours! somethings are cute and i think ill try them but i just get overwhelmed when i see the stuff girls do themselves!

Haha I know… I might try making a FEW things myself but I know I’ll lose patience or mess up so many times that it will end up costing more!

I am a teacher so this summer was the only time I would have to do all my DIY. I dont know what Im going to do now that schools back! The DIY stops and the charges start

08'er crashing. Girls....do yourselves a favor and buy your invitations. I have read countless posts about girls doing their invitations and it's one big pain in the arse....also, you don't save money. That's what most people think, but you don't. Just my advice. You are more than welcome to do your own, but if you want less stress, pay someone else to do them! That's what I did. Good Luck!

sorrry ladies but i did save money with invitations....i bought 7 packs (150 invites) of the invitation kits from e bay ...ribbon and vellum paper from paper and more and everything came up to $100 total
with 8 months left i do a little at a time. i make like 4 a day

i got my invites from target for 6.00 per 25 invite set...and they are georgeous!
it seems overwhelming and it will be, but it saves money if you do it right.
and im all about saving money!

Same here... I just don't have the time or patience to get them done. And on top of that my DIYs look like crap. Ughh forget it i'll pay for everything to get done.
