Wow. You did a great job!!!! Let me look at it again. If you are going to put the Galvin, under the RSVP, etc. sections,.... you may want to bring it up to see it.....or move it down so that you don't see it .

What program did you use? Great borders.

Thanks, yeah my margins were a little off but i got the hang of it now and can fix those problems. Thanks for the compliment. I started using Microsoft word but decided to switch to Publisher, it was easier that way. I will be making alot more until i really get it, so when im ready to make them for my wedding, then i'll know it inside out.

They came out great! I need to find out how to do the whole pocketfold thing..I want them bad, but they are out of our budget. FHs paretns are paying for the invites, so I will make the pocketfolds to go with the invites...Can't wait!

Hey !
The pocketfolds are a bit consuming and maybe if you dont have the patience you can order them from cards and pockets. Right now they have a good sale on, but honestly it is alot cheaper to make them yourself. The black and white one i posted here cost me .75 cents to make including the pocket fold and the inserts which i made and printed myself. I got the paper on sale at michaels 4 for $1 so i stacked up. If you like crafts, you'll enjoy doing them!!! Good Luck hun!

Which paper from Michaels did you use? The paper in the scrapbooking aisle? What dimensions are your invites? I want to do the pocketfolds but longways and the paper in the scrapbooking aisle is too short.

Re: DIY Pocketfolds! Beautiful

hey girl!
Well the paper i used is 12x12 cardstock from michaels. With 1 cardstock i made 1- 5x7 pocketfold. You can make the long way but you dont have enough with the 12x12. I tried doing the long pocketfold on a 12x12 and i it didnt work out. However Michaels sells the Martha stewart cardstock which is bigger, but so is the price. I suggest bying Strathford textured art paper which is 19x25 and its alot cheaper and bigger than Martha stewart. You could probably make like 3 invites out of that paper. They usually sell that paper at Michaels by the art section. Hope this helps.
