DJ help

I am starting to search for DJ's and I am on a budget. I was hoping you girls can help me narrow the search.

We want to keep things simple with just a DJ to play songs and do some brief announcements. We want a DJ who will work with us because we have a strict no play list that we want them to respect, I have heard horror stories where some DJ's will say ok then the day of play whatever they want.

Can you guys make any suggestions...if so can you let me know the quotes as well? thanks

DJ help

I def recommend Parties Alive. They gave us a great price, and never tried to 'upsell' us.. we wanted only the basic too, no crazy lights, no cheesey club mc. And although they have a lot of add ons available did not once pressure us or look down on us for only wanting something small. Check them out!

Above & Beyond Entertainment ..they are excellent& can work within your budget. We were actually set up with our own website to list songs we want played during ceremony, cocktail hour & reception. They also have a section to list songs you do NOT want played. Call Deana Ditta 224-1230

We are using Marc Bauman who was recommended by our videographer. His prices are great and he is very aware of 'no play lists' since ours is kind of extensive!

I have looked at them as well... I was concerned because I saw some so so reviews on wedding wire. Are you using them? If so would you mind sending me your quote.

We are using LI sound too. I was concerned around some of the reviews but overall, they were small in comparison to some really good ones. We have Leo as our MC and an acoustic guitarist for our cocktail hour. They were flexible with pricing and we felt good about the choice. Saw them at 2 bridal expos.

we really liked him! i always secretly feel a little relieved when other people are using the same vendors.
