I have a dumb question. When booking a DJ, I always see Lighting as an extra. Does this mean special light effects or is regular light?? We really don’t need any thing special, we basically just need to have some basic, regular light so that our guest can see where they are dancing.
I’m so confused?

Re: DJ lighting
DJ's usually include a basic lighting package in their price. the exta lighting is for more fancy stuff like intelligent lighting, etc.

Re: DJ lighting
I got the intelligent lighting added to my package (the two light option-they have ones with more lights). I'm still not sure if we need it or not, but my FH called the catering hall and they said it adds ambiance and is nice to have so I just went with it. Honestly don't know if it's really necessary though.

Re: DJ lighting
if you just want regular lighting, then don't get the extra lighting. that will be really bright and is more for Sweet 16 or bat mitzvah atmospheres.
