I was just wondering how much other people are spending on a DJ. I already signed with a company and am now wondering if I should have looked around at others first. I am getting a 5 hour DJ/MC package for $1500. What do you think? Thanks.
Mine was $875 for both DJ/MC. This is on a Sunday afternoon with no extra stuff light lightshows or giveaways. We are using High Energy Entertainment.
We are spending $1295. The price was $1495 but we got a discount due to the fact we are getting married in what they consider off season. DJ/MC and a basic light show. (5hrs) We are using Variety music.
That price sounds about right - they do vary, but that's about the same price I booked. I'm getting the reception plus cocktail hr music.
If you don''t mind my asking - what do they consider off season?
Variety music considers Nov and Feb off season. They are less popular months to get married in. Alot of places give discounts for those months.
