DJ Quotes

Does anyone happen to have DJ quotes from After Hours, Body Rock, Bravura, or anywhere else? I was able to get a quote from Silverfox via email, but the other companies I looked into are trying to get me to meet with them in person. Which is pretty difficult because I'm living in Maryland and doing most of the planning from here. I would like to get some idea of prices first before I drive up to Long Island to meet with them!

We had a a very tight budget, and I tried getting quotes over the phone too, so I wouldn't be wasting anyone's time if they were way out of our range, sooo hard to get an answer. I understand companies need to explain services and get more details etc, but they are so tight lipped!

We are using After Hours. It all depends on what you want they have one man shows that are around 1200 and then as you add more the price goes up. Where in MD are you? We lived in Baltimore about 15min away from the harbor and our daughter was born at Johns Hopkins.

I booked with FM Entertainment and he helped me out alot(I had previously left a $500.00 deposit with another company Party Connection that disappeared with the money) and FM Entertainment was so accomodating and if you email him he will get back to you asap and ask him for a price quote via the email.

Ugh, so frustrating when a vendor wont give you a price quote through email/phone. If you havent already, youu should explain that you are planning from out of town. I dont have quotes from the places you mentioned but I do know Bravura is on the pricier side. I hear they are great though. I am booked with Ultimate Sound DJs and they are reasonably priced. I am paying $2100 for DJ, MC, ceremony & CH music, 4hr reception and percussionist for 4hrs.
