DJ with live percussionist

Just wanted to know what you thought of live percussion with the DJ?

I booked the percusiionist with the dj. I am using Body Rock. I see that you are getting married at Chateau Briand so I was wondering if you are using them also. They are really great. I heard the percussionist at my friends wedding and i thought it was really great-different also. Expensive though. Let me know if u want more info.

We are using Diamond Productins out of NJ and the percussionist was a must for me! I am planning on playing a lot of salsa and nothing says 'party' like the congas in a spanish party. Although I know thye could do the beat to house, merengue, etc. It's awesome!

We have a live percussionist with our package. We went with Get in Tune. I also went to a wedding where they had one and it added a lot to the atmosphere of the dancing time.

We are also having a percussionist with our DJ-Absolute Entertainment. We went to a wedding that had one-it was great!

I think it's a great idea...so great we booked one

We are using BPN Entertainment as our DJ with Brian as MC and Jules as percussionist...also a singer named Mina who sings Broadway tunes, Opera and Italian songs...whichever you'd like1

They do not advertise...by my parents went to a wedding where they played and said they were fabulous!

They also bring a guy who takes cnadid shots all night with a live feed to the plasma screens...fun time! I can't wait!!!!

I was at a wedding two weeks ago that had one and it looked like the guy was totally thrilled to be their. He had an american flag dude rag on and spent most of the wedding yawning like we were keeping him awake.
The music was good but I dont think in the case of this wedding it was worth while.
No one was really interested in him and I really dont think they would have realize if he left half way thru the wedding.

I would try Get In Tune with Glen and Liberty(percussion). She's very exciting and can tell she loves what she does by her facial expression. I think percussion is a nice touch personally. Mainly because it's 'different'. We all go to so many weddings that when things are 'different' in my opinion it's not the same old thing.
