Having a DJ do a pre recorded cocktail hour.... I wanted a sax player but decided instead to get a percussionist for the reception.... Just wasn't in the budge to have both!!

Re: DJ/band during cocktail hour?

We are having a jazz trio for CH. My Dad loves jazz so we thought we would surprise him with a jazz trio I think he'll love it and the band is great!! They are all young and we saw them at my friends and my cousin's wedding, both last year.
Their website is www.soulrevivalband.com
Good luck!!!

Re: DJ/band during cocktail hour?

Our DJ is playing music that we request for the CH, most likely nothing too upbeat, mostly background type of music.

Re: DJ/band during cocktail hour?

Right now, our DJ will play soft background music, and we're still debating on whether or not we want a live band for CH.
