Our CH is for an hour and a half, and honestly, they're usually loud and people usually don't pay attention except to the food anyway, so we're going to just have a CD playing the Rat Pack & Billy Joel - FI's favorites....Saving some money there.
my DJ is going to set something up for my cocktail hour

We have been thinking the same thing.. I would hate to dump some money here when I could surely use it better some other place.... Plus the cocktail hour is half inside/half outside, so to me it's wasted to hire someone to play for some of the people... but it would be a nice touch
