LIKE your FMIL?? I don't, but I'm just curious as to how many of you do. It seems to me that most of the FMIL's are in need of some help. WHY?

I LOVED FMIL...
we got along so well and she actually approved of me (she was hard to please in that sense).... I always told people, 'everyone complains about their MIL, but I will have a great one')
unfortunately, she passed away at age 53 a few months ago... its been hard on both of us but for all of those who complain about FMIL, PLEASE value that she is alive and breathing!!!

My FMIL and I adore each other!! My FH was my best friend for years before we even started dating, so I've always been close with her. She's my wine-drinking buddy.

For the most part, yes. I'm very fortunate. Sometimes I get annoyed by things she says but nobody's perfect and those times are few and far between anyway.

I LOVE my FMIL!!! she is fun to be with and we get to gang up on FH, (he really 'loves' that) I'm really lucky to have her for a FMIL

I think I really got lucky. I love FMIL. My FH is an only child so I really thought I was in for a ride. But she is great and always takes my side lol
