FH and I have been living together for about a year and will not be married until 12/4/2010...We have accumulated a LOT of stuff....(pots, cooking supplies, electronics)... How do you register for gifts for things u already have?? well obv we will still register for some fine china...but would it be tacky to register for our honeymoon?!?! one of my coworkers registered through liberty travel....
what do u guys think?

We live together but we when we moved in together, we had stuff that we've each individually had for awhile, purchased right out of college.
There is nothing wrong with wanting newer, higher quality items that will last you for many, many years. I cannot wait to get a great set of pots and KITCHENAID MIXER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I definitely don't think there's anything wrong with that....I heard of a couple that registered at Liberty Travel for gift certificates and I thought that it was a good idea!!!!!!

we live together and we're planning on upgrading our stuff. Of course we'll add a new bed set and towels..things like that. But basically, w/e we don't have and w/e we feel we need new of we'll register for :)
ive heard of people setting up a honeymoon fund. I think its a great idea if you don't need many new things for your place :)

we lived together for about 2.5 years now. the stuff we have is crap so i registered for everything nicer and brand new!

FH and I have lived together for about a year now and we have a lot of stuff but I say register for stuff that you may be getting tired of or stuff that you know you'll need more of when you have a house. I have awesome bedding that I love but I will still register for another set... when we have a house I'll need all that stuff for the guest room!! I know I'll also want more towels and glasses and small appliances... I could go on and on!!1

I was invited to a shower where they had registered for there honeymoon. They had picked out a bunch of stuff they wanted to do and then you could order or pay for them. I did not think it was tacky at all!!!
