I just naturally assumed that they would take off at least the day before, if vaca/personal time allowed. I think FH will have off day before anyways, because his company alternates Fridays off to save money.
I'm wondering because my coworker is getting married tomorrow, and is working, not even leaving early! And this isn't the place where you only have a set number of days off, you can pretty much come and go as you please (except for me, but that's a whole different story). I have to say I was a little shocked to see him today! Are your FH's taking the day before the wedding off to help prepare?

My FH is but not to help me prepare ( ) but to spend time with his Mom and Grandma who are coming in from FL.

My DH took the day before the wedding off only because his family flew in from Europe. He didn't really help in any of the preparations though.

Mine took off exactly the same time I did which was the best thing in the entire world. We had both had off the week of the wedding, and then 2 weeks after. It was the best time of my life! We never get to be together like that!
ETA: Mine had no vacation time because it was a new job, so he took all 3 weeks unpaid. It was still worth it! I also took a full week unpaid because I only had one week left. Also worth it!

Mine has no days left since hes taking a ton of time off for the HM... regardless, i dont think he would since we're on a sunday

I doubt FH will take off before the wedding...but we're getting married on a Monday (Labor Day). I plan on taking a half day but only b/c my dad will need to drive into the city and take me out to LI for the weekend so I need to pack for the wedding and our HM.

I'm so silly....I was like umm...I don't think that's a good sign if the FH is 'taking off' before the wedding!

FH is taking off that whole week with me. Mostly because he just feels like it. He doesn't need to, just wants to.

I took off the week of the wedding. heck... i took off the whole month of NOV. haha. My last day is oct 30 and my first day back is Dec 2. I can;t wait.
FH took the day of the wedding haha of course.. and i think 2 days before the wedding as well. he also goes back to work slightly before me... nov 27

Mine is taking off the same days I am - 3 days before the wedding. He chose to do it on his own - I had no idea. I just asked him when I saw this question and he said 'yeah - I'm off starting Wednesday - didn't I tell you?'

mine didn't have to bc he finished school and was taking a break from his part time job but have to say he did ALLLLLL of the last minute running around. . we were on a sunday and saturday I was just doing mani/pedi, carting stuff to hotel etc and he did dropping things off to the RH, getting drinks for our RD etc and I could not have done it without him. it would have made me batshi* crazy if he was not around to help!!! one of the many many reasons I love the man. .
oh and I first read it take off . like dissapear too. .and thought BAD SIGN!

fro day one I was going to take off the day before to do last minute stuff, at fist FH was like why so I need to take off but the other day he told me hes going to take a personal day.. it was very hard not to say I told you so
