I am really not a fan of veils. I originally thought to get one (super cheap) for the ceremony and then take it off for the reception. Do I even really need one? Has anyone seen a bride without it?

the chics in bridal magazines never have veils on...or necklaces really...anyone else notice that? unless its just cause they want the dress to stand out more

Re: Do I have to have a veil?
I personally have never seen a bride w/o some type of veil, at least during the ceremony. I think you could get away without it completely. Just be prepared for people to notice

I didn't. Pics in album. I had some hair jewels (studs) in my updo. I forgot to wear earrings, so the look was a little plainer than I planned. I hate light fabrics brushing against my skin, so no veil for me.

If you're not going to be 100% happy with it...don't wear it. It's YOUR wedding!!

Re: Do I have to have a veil?
you don need it.
from personal experience of trying on the dresses, i didnt feel like a bride until i had the veil on.
you have to do what ever makes you feel the most comfortable and look the best.
