do I invite former BM?

Several months ago, one of my bridesmaids dropped out of the bridal party because her sister is getting married the same week. She gave me plenty of notice and I'm OK with it. I know she'll be out of town for my wedding obviously, but should I invite her to the shower? I told her I'm inviting her to the bachelorette party. But is inviting her to the shower asking too much from someone who can't make the wedding? I'm just worried that if my surprise bachelorette party ends up being the same weekend as the bridal shower that some people will wonder why I invited her to one and not the other. Thoughts?

I would invite her to everything, including the wedding. She'll say yes to what she can attend and no to what she can't.

I agree with the prior post to invite her to everything and let her chose what she can and can not come to

id invite her! If she was asked to be in your BP id assume you are close w her?! So id think she like the invite even if she cant make it!

I agree also - I'm sure she won't think that you're just wanting a gift (since you mentioned that you're ok with inviting her to the bach. party but were not sure about the shower).

Honestly invite her to everything - she may feel slighted if you don't

Defintiely!!!! if you're close enough to her to have asked her to be in your BP, i would invite her to everything.... you'll want her there and she'll come to what she can...
