Do I need reception cards?

Do I need reception cards?

with my invites...I am getting married at the hall and the CH and reception immediately follow the ceremony. Do I need these?

no i dont think so. i think you only need reception cards if you are having the ceremony at a different place than the reception. JMO.

i don't think so as long as it is stated in some way on the invite (i'm sure it will be) that the CH is immediately following, etc.

i would ask someone who works at a place where they sell invites (someone who usually writes them up) just to make sure... just ask what people usually do in a situation like yours and you should be all set!

maybe it'll save you some money!

Nope. On the bottom of the ceremony invite, you just add a line on the bottom stating 'Reception Immediately to Follow'

Ours said almost the same 'Reception immediately following'

I think sometimes, at the bottom of the invite some write (cocktails and reception to follow!) I don't think it's on a different card b/c it's at the same place

Our vendor for invites told us that when the ceremony and reception are at the same place, you do not need reception cards b/c they are kind of redundant....this means she lost money, so I believe her...and didn't think they were necessary beforehand...and you don't have to mention the reception on the invite either.
