Do I REALLY need favors??

Ok so I'm doing a candy buffet, slipper basket and cigar roller. Do I really need extra favors, or could those items be it???

Your gonna have little bags to take home candy Im guessing...so the candy IS THE FAVor lol..sounds good to me!

To be honest Im not a huge favor person. Twice Ive loved the favors and both times they were very expensive (once a set of 4 martini glasses PER PERSON and the other a beautiful cheese cutting board and knife) other than that I usually think they are cheap looking (IMO dont mean to offend) do a donation with the candy if your concerned...? HTH

What you should do as a favor is have candy apples w/favor tags ON the candy apple for ppl to take home - that way its still in the candy 'theme' but its clearly not something for them to eat while they're there...

I'm doing truffle's and at first I was only going to do a truffle quad. We wanted something edible rather than a chotchki that people would throw out anways. However as FH and I thought about we thought we should give something 'tangible' but 'usefuL'. So now we're doing a double trrufle box and a snowflake ornament. Only the packaging will contain our names and wedding date in tag form, but the ornament will not, nor the ribbon holding the ornmaent, nor the truffle box. While the ornament may classify as a chotchski, we felt that by not putting our names all over it people more like would keep it and hang it on their tree since most people save their ornaments year-to-year.

We are doing a Candy Bar, Slipper Basket, and Favor bags with almonds or something in it (at place settings). We are also doing a favor matter of fact FMIL was here last weekend and specifically asked what i was doing for favors. Problem is I was going to do these cute personalized shot glasses. She turned her nose up at that one so i am back to the drawing board Oh and we did matches to place on the bar and on te tables in the smoking area.
