I just don't want to spend 40-50 dollars on a flowergirl basket!!! I'm having 4 flowergirls!! I also DO NOT HAVE a creative bone in my body! Where are you ladies getting your basket from?? Ebay hasn't had anything attractive lately.

go to Michaels and Rag shop. You can but any white basket and cover it in tulle or satin for $10.

Is that gonna be hard to do?? (I know it sounds like a stupid question, but . . .I'm just not creative!)

not at all. as a matter of fact, I can't imagine that you could screw it up- creative or not.
That basket is very pretty. I'm going to look on E-Bay now. Thanks!

Re: Do Inexpensive Flowergirl Baskets Exist????
I bought these fof $8.95 ( I have 4 fg also) and my Aunts friend who is the NJ version of Martha Stewart is going to embellish them so they look really pretty
I took a basket from my grandmothers house, spray painted it white (well dad did) and filled it with dry rose petals from roses that DH had given to me over the years...awww

I am making mine as well. Little wicker baskets were only $2.99 at michaels. I will be spray painting them white and decorating with ribbon and flowers.

Re: Do Inexpensive Flowergirl Baskets Exist????
I got these off Ebay...2 for $30 (I think, or close to that) They are REALLY beautiful in person!
I was at Michaels last night - 50% off all baskets and silk flowers
Get a basket, if it's not white spray paint it, add a silk flower and a ribbon and you have it done for less than $15
If you're that stuck FM me and I can do it for you.

yabbobay...I was considering using dried petals from flowers my SO has given me through the years...how did this work for you? Was it as 'pretty' as live-petals or was it super brown & crunchy?
