COMMACK WEDDING CENTER!!! im sorry if people feel different and love it there but let me tell you I'm not happy with them and never really was. I went there to save my BM money on there dresses because yes they have the cheapest prices but there service *****!!!!! They are rude nasty very unhappy people. I should of known from day one when we went to get my girls fitted. After I knew how nasty they were it was to late because I already placed an order with them for the dresses and my girls would of lost out on 98$ and i didnt want that to happen to them. well today i called to make a fitting appointment for my mother FMIL and my 7 bridesmaids. well 1st off the woman answered nasty. I said hello can you please connect me to someone who can set up an appointment for me for my mom fmil and BM and shes said nasty yeah i guess i can help you. so i was very nice to her told her my name and wedding date and set up an appointment for this sat for my mom and fmil with her telling me to hold on 6 times(i counted) she would say oh my god hold on! with a nasty voice. then i told her i need wed at 7 for 4 of my girls, i gave her 1st last names and phone #'s then she started getting really pissed off out of no where and then she gos well wait who is this?? i told her my name again and shes like ohhh noo noo i cant do this. i said what? then she said i cant make these appointments for ur BM cause you arent them and i told her you just set up an appointment for my mom and fmil with no problem whats the problem now? and shs like yes but its different and i told her im not understanding, then she gos your not heather, vicky ashley ect(those are my BM names) and i said yes and i wasnt Barbara or Donna and you set up an appointment for them. then she god oooooooo god your going to have to call back another time and i asked her why? and shes like i dont have time for this crap and i said excuse me!? is that how you speak to your customers?! and shes like listen your going to need to call back ANOTHER TIME! her vocie got so loud and she is talking to someone eles when she says you believe this girl she wont hang up. i told her i want to speak to a manager and shes like call back another time and hung up!!!!!!!1 i was so red in the face i called back and the phone was busy! that b*tch i think made a phone call so i couldnt get threw well i finally got threw and spoke with the manager and he didnt believe me!!! you know why because its a family owned business and of course they are going to stick up for each other. well im here posting this to tell you to stay away even if your trying to save money! and to ask any of you what can i do to make a complaint? im so pissed and so mad that manager didnt believe! sorry for the long vent!!!

EDIT:::: for some miss spelling i was so pissed i wrote so fast lol and to say that this wasnt my 1st time dealing with this crap from them i have other stories to but this one takes the top 10 of my times there!!!

We are really sorry to hear about this but thank you so much for informing us LIW Brides and Grooms about this. I think that they were very rude because they need more people to work there and help out. The shop that we go to have been nice to me, fh, and wedding party. If we have a problem we let them know and they take care of it. If you need to talk FM me.

That's pretty crappy service. I hope it was a one-time thing, but I've heard some other unpleasant things about them. And these comments have stuck in my mind as I ordered my wedding gown through them, as they gave me the best price. However, I'm hoping to not need alterations at all--the sample dress fit well, I got a hollow to hem so I shouldn't need hemming, and Casablanca dresses apparently come with bustles! Which I only found out recently and I'm very happy about. So we'll see. I hope to walk in, try on the dress, love it, and walk out.

But I'm really sorry about what happened to you. They were very nice to me, but then they were taking my money at the time.

I'm sorry you had to deal with this. Just as an FYI, you should change the subject of your post b/c it'll probably be removed due to you writing 'do not go to ..' I had the same thing happend to me a while ago when i wrote a negative review about someone. Stick to the facts and remove the 'Do Not go to..'

OH SO YOU THOUGHT THE SAME......I KNEW THEY WERE OFF THE CHAIN WHEN WE WALKED IN AND NO ONE TOLD US WERE TO SIGN ON THAT DARN NOTE PAD SIGN IN SHEET THEY HAD.....I DID GET MY DRESS THEIR AND MY BM DRESSES ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE CHEAP.....I DID NOT GO FOR MY ALTERATIONS THERE FOR MY DRESS AND MY BM MAY NOT DO THEIR THERE EITHER......THEY WERE A BUNCH OF RUDE OLD BAGS.......AND BELIEVE YOU ME MY FSIL LET THE DAUGHTER HAVE IT IN AN INSTANT.....MATTER OF FACT I HAVE TO CALL FOR MY BM DRESSES THIS WEEK....

I AM SORRY YOU HAD A HARD TIME AND THE NEXT TIME I GO THERE I AM GOING TO MENTION IT TO THE FATHER/OWNER/WEDDING SHOW MAN AND LET HIM KNOW THAT HIS BUISNESS IS BEING RATED AND WORD OF MOUTH ISNT GOOD I WILL GET THEM BACK FOR YOU AND ME AND ANY OTHER BRIDE....

that's terrible! i'm sorry you had to deal with that. i went there to check it out and had a bad experience. we stood there in front of them (downstairs) waiting to be helped and not ONE person looked up to talk to us because the 3 old ladies were too engrossed on what to order for lunch! then when i interrupted them, they barely helped. i felt like we were a burden. imagine, a customer asking questions. how silly of me.

we weren't too impressed. the ladies upstairs in the favors and invitations area were more professional.

Tara, are the alterations free because if not take your buisness elsewhere. I would definetly not put up with that crap. Sorry you had to deal with morans like that.

what a nightmare! Sounds like a terrible place. I'll be sure to tell all the forthcoming brides I know to STEER CLEAR.

We went there for my best friends (MOH's) wedding back in '04 because they had the best prices. The women there were extremely rude and catty throughout the entire process. Not only that - they put in me in a size 38 dress (I'm a size 14 in real life) and made me feel like poop because I'm not a size 2!!!!!!!!!! What the F?

I had the dress tailored somewhere else and the tailor said, 'why is it so big?' My fiance and I laughed about it later and called it my tent!
