my only DO NOT PLAY songs were the YMCA and the conga line...otherwise my guests loved doing the electrics slide, etc...I dont think one chair had a butt in it

I wasnt very picky but I did not allow house music. Just not our thing.
We aren't going to be to picky. I actually like group dances like the electric slide and cha cha slide. But I def don't want the macarena rock and roll, country or slow dances! And certain artists from my country who don't know the meaning of NO Vulgarity! And that is pretty much it!

Actually I want the YMCA song, my fiance and I met back in HS at a YMCA retreat and we actually danced together for the first time at a YMCA party. The song is ridiculous but I figured we'd play a snippet so the guests will be like ***! It's gonna be our thing!

Good idea to think about! I hate all of those 'wedding songs.' Cha Cha Slide, Hot, Hot, Hot, YMCA. Need I say more!
i hate all those group dancing songs ESPECIALLY the CHA CHA song! omg my family LOVES THAT SONG!!! well they are going to be miserable at my wedding if they are expecting it! lol
I definitely need to put a list together. So far I have banned 'Brown Eyed Girl'. I used to love the song, but got sick of hearing it every single time I was at a wedding. Also, I will NOT walk into U2's 'Beautiful Day'! Again, so sick of watching every bride and groom walk into that song at every wedding. And I will not dance to 'Daddy's Little Girl'. I dislike that song so much.
