I had one and I am glad I did! I also had a no requests policy

Weeks leading up to the wedding I had like 5 people ask me to play their wedding song at my wedding. One or two is fine, but hey this is my night!

I am glad I did bc I had ANOTHER person at the wedding come up to me and ask me to play THEIR wedding song with 20 min left to the reception!!! Seriously?!?!

I gave them a list of songs to play and not play and let the DJ do his job. I just feel with alot of requests that takes away from the flow of the wedding.

We're definitely having a 'do not play' list. Macarena and the Electric Slide are ON it, but the Cha Cha Slide is NOT! I love the Cha Cha Slide, haha.

We have one no electric slide, no cha cha slide, no cupid shuffle, no YMCA. FMIL is requesting hands up so I guess I will let that happen not too thrilled with it though you lose ppl with those songs.
