My DOC is not planning my entire wedding at all! Im planning everything from the theme to favors to EVERY little detail you can possibly think of. I only hired her for one day.
Day of Coordinator is only there on your wedding day. Shes the first to come and last to leave to ensure that all your small details and major detail requests are done.

I would never trust anyone especially a stranger to pull off my entire wedding.

Derrrrr! I thought a DOC was a wedding PLANNER! I never heard the term DOC until LIW and I assumed it was a planner...

Didnt mean to offend anyone though, it was JMO!!!!

It was an idea I was thowing around for about a year. And the when Christine started her own business Exquisite Affairs Productions I knew I had to have her. I have 110% satisified so far and my wedding is 11 months away. It is very worth it for me as I tend to stress over things a lot.

best money ever spent...ROSALIE WAS OURS...she was awesome!!!!

We didn't worry about a damn thing that day

My friend just used Rosalie and she was FANTASTIC. I'll probably end up using her too.

No, I do not think its worth it. I did not have one, and everything about my day was absoultely perfect. The maitre'd made sure everything at the hall was coordinated and that everything was going right 'behind the scenes.' I was relaxed the entire day and had zero stress about anything.
If I had hired a DOC it would have totally been a waste of money.

I wanna do my own stuff and not have a stranger around me while I am trying to be with my family and close friends...no thanks for me. Plus with the money I would have spent on that I could get my jumbo shrimp instead!

Worth Every Penny....do not regret having a DOC for a single minute. Would hire Judy again in a heartbeat. Feel free to FM for more info re: $$ and recommendation.

Best investment I made for the peace of mind. I used Laura from LA Productions and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I have a full planner and she has been a god send since we hired her! SHe has kept me on track (i was very behind) and now Im practically done!!!

If you really want one I would get one-I know alot of people had said they regretted not having one

I'm not going for one. My cousins both didn't have them so I'm pretty confident that I will be fine on my own. I'd rather save the money and enjoy being able to run the show a little bit.

At first I thought I really needed on, but the day of the wedding I honestly did not need one. Everything ran smoothly at the Church, and at FF the bridal attendant is amazing there would have been no need for one.

she was ours too and SOOOO WORTH the Money! She was a pleasure to work with even before the wedding she was there to help with so many different things-and might I add-thats not in her job description-since I hired her as a DOC.

You will NOT regret having her by your side

It depends on what you expect them to do. It can range from as low as $300-$1000

Does anyone know of a good DOC in the $300 price range? We've been getting quotes of $500 and up and up! Really just want someone to oversee vendors and details the day of, nothing in planning...

TIA!

Also find out how involved your attendant from the RH will be. Everyone I talk to that had a wedding at my venue said it is completely unnecessary because your attendant does EVERYTHING for you.
