Do you believe that Love knows NO age?

'Love knows NO age'?
I was just chatting with a very wise LIW girl and she said these words to me and while I am 100% sure that I believe this is true....does anyone disagree? Just wondering what you all thought.

I do think that is true.

A relationship develops off what both
bring to it - it then flourishes from there

I think that love knows no age...and I guess what I mean more specifically is that I would never discredit a relationship just because the two met when they were 'young.' FH and I started dating at 18 and we have been together for 8 years. When I would say that he was the one people would laugh and tell me that I was too young to know what love was. I disagree.

Here is the wise LIW girl by the way!!!

I think its personal - for me - love does know a age.... its 4-5 years older than me max. Otherwise I feel unconfortable.

My FH is only 4 months older than me - and its perfect for me, which is all that matters right.

I do get a good kick out of Demi though... rock on girl!!!!!

Yeah I agree with that. I met my FH when I was 16 and he was 17. I heard all the same things and I still do

I think it depends on the relationship -

I really don't think that Anna Nicole Smith was in love with the old guy she married.

When I was 18, I began dating a man who was 46. (he was 28 years older than I) He had such a young heart-he was a drummer in a band. We had a good relationship for the 2 years that it lasted.

I think loves knows age, but the smart ones choose to ignore it.

When FH and I met I was 16 and he was 24. My parents would have KILLED me if I dated him at that time. We waited two years to begin a relationship. To answer your question I do believe that Love knows NO age. I was in love with him at 16 and still am.

PS There is an 6 year age difference between my parents and 8 between me and FH.
