she didnt even offer anything. didnt even admit she was wrong and apologize. UNBELIEVEABLE.

OMG, I am soo sorry. That is so horrible!! I can't believe she didn't even apologize. She is TOTALLY responsible and at fault and if she is going to be a biatch about it I would definitely pursue it in court and try to recover some money for medical bills. When you dropped that puppy off, she agreed to take care of it, therefore making anything that happened while in her care, her responsibility.

I have to say i find this story sooo weird...

SHE put your new puppy in a car less than an hour after you dropped her off?

Where was she going? Did she tell you that she was going to drive with the dog?

she had the window upen that far down with a new dog she doesn't know????

I would be VERY PISSED! And i would SUE HER!

I agree lolita...she got a scrapped knee from WHAT?
when did he bite her...i mean how bad could that have been
and she couldn't catch up to a puppy?

Something sounds TOO WEIRD!

I am so sorry!!!! That is absolutely unforgivable.

I'd sue the hell out of her- the cost of the puppy and the cost of the medical bills. I know that getting the money is in no way a comfort for your loss. But I'd sue her to hit HER where it hurts! What a callous beyotch!

So sorry you have to go through this gut wrenching ordeal. I can't even imagine.

What bugs me is that your friend doesn't seem to be too apologetic. I don't know if it's because she may not know what to say or if she's truly that callous. Maybe she felt that if she said anything, it might upset you even more.

As for the dog getting away, I've been in a similar situation...so it sounds plausible to me. My parents got a Yorkie back when I was still living at home. One day the puppy bolted out the front door. I bolted out after it, but suprisingly it was almost impossible to keep up with that little dog (and I was a runner back then.) I finally caught the dog mid-pee. I was just fortunate that there were no cars coming by within those few moments.

I think you either need to sit down and have a heart to heart with your friend or write the friendship off. There's no inbetween after something like that.

Again, I'm so sorry for your little one.

This story is horrific. This is the exact reason I don't trust my pups with anyone but my parents or sisters. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I would NEVER, EVER be friends with this so called 'friend' of yours again. She sounds like a cold-hearted beeyotch.

omg Im in tears just thinking of that poor little doggie. the person that hit the dog didnt stop- shame on them and your friend. People are so heartless. Not that it can repair you emotionally but I hop that your 'friend' picks up the vets tab and perhaps the cost of the dog. Either eay it could never replace your doggie but its only right.

Re: do you believe this?

hi, just wanted to clarify things...
my friend was out at the time, so i met up with her at the restaurant, as she was leaving and i gave her the dog and all his belongings. she then drove the dog to her house, but never made it in her house, she lost him as she was getting out of the car.
sorry if i confused anyone
