do you believe this?

OKAY I HAVE TO VENT! Okay so yesterday morning I picked up my new puppy, pikoneese mixed with a maltese. Since I am moving in 2 weeks, my friend offered to watch the dog and take care of it. I trusted her and felt good leaving him with her. I dropped him off and received a message not even an hour later, saying she lost my dog and shes been 'going crazy looking for it' . I left the house in a complete panic with my other friend and searched everywhere for him. We finally found him lying in the middle of the street full of blood. After taking him to the emergency clinic, costing $700, he has a hole under his chin, blind in one eye, bleeding inside his ear, broken jaw, broken bones around his eye, and his breathing was affected. I get sick thinking about it and have never been so upset. We took him to a regular vet today and he is in poor shape abd doesnt look too good. That cost another $1500
And we just made the decision to put him to sleep. I cannot believe this is happening and feel this is a nightmare. I am so disgusted with my friend, hpw could you not put the dog on a leash? And you chased it? BS, it was right across the street, it didnt get very far, its a 5 pd dog for gods sake. I cannot believe the irresponsibility, and dont think I will be ever able to forgive her. This has truly hurt me.
