Do you care where the RD is?

Original post by JayBee216

My FMIL is on a tight budget, and wants to have a buffet RD in a hotel banquet room.

I don't - I really don't like buffets, and we're having the brunch the next day there so I just feel like EVERYTHING will be there and it's sort of boring.

She doesn't want to do anything to decorate it either (centerpieces, menus or anything like that).

Should I let it go?

I actually do not really care where the rehearsal dinner is. I would be fine with just having pizza or a bbq at someone's house.

I would def. leave it alone, especially because money is tight for her right now. I think it would be kind of insulting if you add things or suggest some place else. JMO!

I'd let it go...if it's all she can afford, it's all she can afford ya know? I'd say if there is anything extra, you could add it if your budget allows.
