Yeah this is me too. FH's phone is boring though because it's always customers that call him. I don't even bother with his phone anymore. I looooooooove looking at my girlfriends' phones though!

To snoop or be nosy, nope, never.

FH had a lock on his phone when we were first going out and it drove me CRAZY lol just because I couldn't peek if I wanted to.

When he got a diff phone he never bothered to put a password so I've peeked a few times but there's nothing interesting going on in there
He's let me borrow his phone when I forgot mine for a whole day so just the fact that he is comfortable giving me his phone makes me disinterested in snooping lol.

Fh and i really don't hide much from each other. I mean hell i leave my phone with him, esp when I don't wanna be bother and he leaves it with me to run the business. No secrets here. I mean for crying out loud there is nothing private left in our relationship lol. Its all out in the open.

Thats why its so hard for him to plan surprises and the same for me. We have each others passwords and we know where each other hides things. Christmas, birthdays and even the engagement involve careful planning and hiding.

This is true for us, too. FH forgets his phone so often that I've had to let him borrow mine for work (since he needs it and I don't) many a time. I'm sure he's peeked at mine. There's nothing he can't see on there so it's not like I'm snooping on his phone.

There really is *nothing* private left in our lives. I was blow drying my hair this morning and FH came in to take a crap. I didn't leave, I just continued doing my hair and chatting.

Yes. I have done this and it cause a big fight because I found a text from some girl. (It ended up being a girl from his class who he was working on a project on).

So...I have not done it since. FH now laughs about it bc he thinks I am crazy!

naaa - FH phone is boring........just a bunch of stupid comments from his friends on their group Blackberry Messenger.......OR emails about fishing tournaments/soccer games/etc........

oh man what has cyberspace done to this society?!? lol. it may have been better when no one had to think about all this cr@p.

it's funny b/c if my phone goes off and I'm in the shower or whatev, he will 100% look at it, read the text, respond to my friend and then never tell me they texted in the first place!!!!

I think it all depends on your relationship. Most of his stuff is super boring so it's not worth it.

I have in the past...and guess what? every text was from me!!!! hahaha. he's not really a phone person anyway.

I have a million texts on mine..most from his brother, cousins etc. If someone texts me and I'm not next to it, I'll tell him to read it and respond lol.

Guess living together for years has made us boring.

But, and this is a downer, my divorce atty told me years ago...always know what's going on in your relationship. Most people are blindsided when stuff happens. yep...he was right.

I admit.. I do. I had an ex who cheated (and that is how I found out)...

Even though I trust my FH completely... that little insecure girl still looks every once and a while... and then feels stupid that I did.

I play with his phone ALL THE TIME, but I also have passwords for his email, facebook, etc. I check his mail sometimes too, but he knows that I do. I am bad at snooping, but I always tell him after. I went through his luggage the night before he proposed to see if the ring was there. I went through his texts and read a convo btwn him and my sister about getting a box for the ring. He once told me he bought me a present, but it wouldn't be in for a while, so I went on his email and found out what it was. I'm bad with surprises

But it's one of my annoying qualities that FH loves

omg i use to do this ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!! it was horrible...

but FH and i went through something a long time ago, a big bump that is now a tiny bump in the long term picture of our life together, and i felt justified to have to check up on him until he really proved his trustworthyness...

now i rarely do.....

every once in a while, not because i dont trust him, like others, because im CURIOUSSSSSSSSS and NOSY sometimes...if his phone rings, it makes me happy to kno who it is!

This sounds exactly like me and Fh lol. I tell him things that I probably should just keep to myself half the time and vice versa but I love that we're like that with each other!

omg it was one of the things i would check while i was snooping around for my e-ring before we got engaged!!! i felt sooo bad but i wanted to find a clue!!!!!!!!!!

I do, but not often. He's so weird about his phone, and I think it's just stupid guy comments that he doesn't want me to see, but sometimes i'll try to go in and just read texts from his brothers or wahtever.... No big deal... other times, I'll ask him, 'hey, joe just texted you. want me to read it to you?' usually the answer is yes!!!

i don't think he really knows how to work my phone, though....
