still early to have a registry? we are thinking about opening one soon..but is it too early? we kind of have an idea of what things we want also!
We chose to wait until it gets closer to the wedding because a lot if things will be discontinued and I don't think anyone is going to start buying anything off of it until my bridal shower, so we will probably register around January or February
Thats funny I was actually going to ask everybody when they were planning on starting one, I kinda feel like it's a little too early but I don't know. Also where is everyone registering? I was thinking Kohls but FH doesn't want to. I can't wait to see what others have to say!!
if you are having an engagement party, u can because some people would probably get u stuff off of it..otherwise id wait
There are plenty of people registering now but I am waiting until probably the late fall early winter to register. I am afraid of things getting discontinued if I register to early.
We only registered for china so far. So many family members wanted to get us engagement gifts and kept asking when we were going to register. Closer to our 8 month mark we'll probably expand our registry.

I have one, only because my mom's friends wanted to buy me presents and I was being harassed. I don't recommend doing it too early, a lot of things we registered for were discontinued.

we plan on doing it this summer around our 1 yr mark

ok thanks jess! maybe i'll wait longer then..how soon before the wedding do you usually register?
We registered last month. Even though we are still a year away, people could always use it for birthdays and christmas too.
We registered only because alot of my family kept asking us about it on our engagement party, and now that my FIL are throwing us another one, we defiantly are glad we registered. So I guess if you already had your engagement party, then you might want to wait, but if theres things you already want why not register?

I personally chose to wait til it's closer to my wedding...I'm planning on creating registry right before me and fh have a big, joint wedding shower...we're doing ours around next april...
