'We' being Coram, Farmingville and Medford. Power went out at approx 7:30PM and was finally restored around 9. LIPA's recording said all 3 towns were out but gave no reason why....
Does anyone know what happened?

I'm in Patchogue and our lights flickered a few times, but didn't go out.

We were completely out...which of course was the perfect opportunity for me to light all of my candles. I told DH they'd come in handy one day!
It was fun in an odd sort of way...but I haven't been able to find anything about it on the news.

The power went out for a second in Shoreham last night around the same time, thankfully it came right back

I live in Farmingville and I was at my parents in Coram and we heard a large boom (which my guess was a transformer blew). I was checking the news and stuff today but didn't hear anything.
