OK...here is the best pic I have of my couch...and as much as I would like to get a new one...DH and I have agreed to wait...so while I do want to 'match' the couch...I would like to stay in the neutral range...so that when we do get a new couch, the curtains will still go...
ETA: the couch is color mink...it looks brown in the pic...but it has a lot of green tones in it...DH and I argue whether it is green or brown

also...with the color you think is best...do you think hardfood floors or a neutral tile would be nicer?

I was thinking about this while watching QueerEye for the Straight Guy last night. Their tip was to use throws over the sofa to add some color and maybe a pattern without it being expensive, overpowering or permanent.
