Do you like your

FHs name?

Did you always like it? if you had a would you name him after FH?

I was just thinking about this.... I did not like FHs name when i first met him since then i have gotten over it but It is the name of my brother my step father and his father... it was just weird... We call them Big Rich(step dad), Little Rich (odd because hes older then FH) and My Rich. It gets confusing when talking to my family and they say Rich...or x mas presents with rich written on them which one???
Fh would like to name the after him but so would my brother because he is already a third... my whole family is going to be named RICH

I like my FHs name. Its different and VERY italian. We decided that if and when we have a second son we will give it his name as his middle name but your story sounds like FHs family. His dad, brother, and Uncle all have the same name,,, FH wants to keep to his italian tradition and name our first son after him... my biggest argument with this is that FFIL already has his name sake ( his son) and i really dont want to name my son Bruno, so we compromised and will give our first boy his dads name as a middle name..

i like my fhs name.....i dont think i have a choice about naming my baby after him....his entire family is either peter or sebastian.....he hasnt decided which one to use yet

Weirdly enough, FH's name is a 'family name' for my family. It's also my dads name and my grandpa's name. I always knew I'd name my son that name, it's my favorite.

Enter FH, who over his dead body will name his son after him. Go figure!!

My FH is a jr so our son will follow suit. Everyone calls him by his middle name - which I love. I don't love his first name but what am I gonna do right?

My FH and I both hate jrs...we felt like out son needed his own identity so his name is different than my FH

I like FH's name, we have talked about choosing a name for our (when we get to have one) and he asked me if it's ok to name him after his dad since names are a tradition in his family:

his granfather's name was Thomas Sebastian,
his father's name is Sebastian Thomas,
his name is Thomas Sebastian,
and now our future 's name will be Sebastian

ahhh I hope I didn't confuse anybody..lol!

i love his name i HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE (did i mention Hate??) his last name

we are not a big fan of juniors cause he says especially with boys when they grow up things always get confused with social security, credit cards, etc. its a headache. his dad is a junior and its soo annoying sometimes

oh yeah and i still hate his last name

I actually never really liked the name Anthony before i met FH , now i have gotten used to it. but Fh doesnt want a JR so i am all clear

It is kind of funny- FH has a very Jewish first name and a very German last name that, to random strangers, often sounds Jewish as well.

He is really just German! He hates his name, so no pressure there. His dad's name is the family name (Marvin), but they all hate it too.....so nope, we get to choose our own if we decide to pop out some offspring (still under discussion)

I do not like FHs name. We are not having any more kids but if we would have had a boy I would not have named it after him. It would not have been a jr anyway b/c FH does not have a middle name and my child would have.

Haha It's funny, I never liked the name Nick bc I had a neighbor named Nicky and I always associated it with him. When my mom was pregnant with my little brother she wanted to name him Nicholas and me and my older brother stopped her!!!

Now I like his name. But I can't do Nick Jr. it reminds me of the TV channel from when I was younger lol. Plus FH doesn't want a junior.

p.s. his last name and my future last name also starts with a 'B' and i've been calling him BB since we met and in a year i'll be a BB too so thats kinda cool - whats not so cool is almost everyone always says 'aww you gotta name your kids with B names! - no way thats way too cheesy!

i love my first name...i used to hate it, but now i wish it wasn't mine so i could name my daughter it! hahaha

FH's name is pretty average, but one of my favorite names too....
